This is my last term teaching in the science department. It was fun, but it wasn't me. I don't want to work in some of the situations I found myself, and I've talked to the dean about it.

After much paperwork and discussion, I'm transferring to the Religion and Philosophy department!

I'd like to thank my company at the Rock Band tournament, talking a bit made my decision making go so much more smoothly! And I had fun as well. I like fun. But of course, who doesn't? And I found a new drink I like! Except I didn't get its name. I just know that it's pink. I'll find it!

Fall term will roll around soon enough, and with it will come new stuff! I still haven't found a hobby, though maybe Rock Band will do for now!

Teaching is splendid. Teaching is fun! I love the classroom!

So why do I feel like something isn't working?

I've finished teaching one summer session, and I'm into the second, but something isn't enough, and I simply do not know how to fix this. I want to change lives, to inspire, to help, and instead... instead I'm teaching algebra to students on football scholarships, and I'm expected to pass them all! And most would fail fifth-grade math! I do have some science courses for the majors, but they're not accomplishing the reason I set out to teach medicine.

I'll be talking to the dean in the morning; it was scheduled a while ago as an evaluation. She's smart. Maybe she will know what to do!

And in the meantime, I'm going to get a pedicure! And see about taking a class in something myself. It's been too long since I learned something new!

I'm looking so forward to the start of summer term, though I have a feeling any student who might hear me saying that would be ready to kill me. They all look so exhausted and desperate.

I can help. Free coffee in my office for all students dealing with finals! I'm stuck in the history department until they can find a good spot for me, since they suddenly have less office space for the science department. Oh dear, I hope this doesn't mean the courses I'd be teaching are history. Hee! Or that I'm history!

Soon I'll be putting my first final together. I've already got things set up for the general education courses I'm teaching, and I get to continue working on Advanced Physiology! Though that won't make for an exciting weekend. I simply must put together plans for my weekend.

I'll be going to it Monday, and I don't want to be completely lost.
Well, here I am, ready to start teaching for the first time. I must admit I'm a bit nervous, but these are college students, so here's hoping they've got some maturity? My best friend back home keeps telling me to knock them dead, but I don't think that's exactly legal. I hope I don't wind up with the urge to follow his advice!

Summer term starts soon. There's so much to do! I have to unpack, I have to find the office, and I simply must find time to socialize a bit. I also have to look into what's required to be the faculty advisor for the crew team. I did that in college, and I must say it would be quite fun!

But first, a little distraction I noticed as I was looking around. I do love distractions.

TECHNOLOGY

Q.
